Cong appoints Punjab Minister AICC Secretary

The Congress has appointed Punjab Minister Vijay Inder Singla as the All India Congress Committee (AICC) Secretary, attached to party treasurer Ahmed Patel.
AS per an AICC release, the Congress interim chief has appointed Singla the AICC Secretary with immediate effect and will look after party properties and assets.
Singla, perceived close to Rahul Gandhi, is PWD Minister in Punjab and MLA from Sangrur.IANS
