PM unveils 25 ft Vajpayee statue in Lucknow

Prime minister Narendra Modi unveiled a 25-feet tall statue of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Lucknow on Wednesday.
The statue which was made in Jaipur, Rajasthan, is a tribute to the BJP stalwart whose 95th birth anniversary is being observed on Tuesday.
The prime minister was accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
The statue is a tribute to Vajpayee who co-founded the BJP and also served as five-time MP of Lucknow.IANS
