Shiv Sena-BJP insulted public mandate: Raj Thackeray
Pune
21-December-2019
In a surprise turnabout, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) President Raj Thackeray on Saturday termed the recent political developments in the state as an "insult" to the people.
"The Shiv Sena-Bharatiya Janata Party have 'insulted' public sentiments. The Sena joining hands with Nationalist Congress Party-Congress is not correct," the MNS chief said while addressing the media here.
He said that those who "defected" were taught a lesson by the voters, and the people were unhappy with the Maha Vikas Aghadi government.
He predicted that its repercussions would be felt in the next elections.
The MNS has one legislator in the new Assembly who is sitting with the opposition combine led by the BJP. IANS
