BJP women MPs file complaint against Rahul Gandhi with EC

After a ruckus in the Lok Sabha over Rahul Gandhi's 'Rape in India' remark at a rally in Jharkhand, women Members of Parliament of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by Union Minister Smriti Irani on Friday filed a complaint with the Election Commission seeking action against him.
Talking to mediapersons outside the Election Commission, Irani said, "Rahul Gandhi is using rape as a political tool. The women MPs have filed a complaint against him over his derogatory remark with the commission. The commission has assured action against him on the complaint filed by the women MPs of the party on behalf of angry families."
"Is every son, brother of the country a rapist? I want to ask the public that till when they will take this insult?" Irani said.
Maneka Gandhi, Debasree Chaudhuri, Saroj Pandey, Bhupender Yadav were also present outside the Election Commission.
