Navy's MiG-29K jet crashes in Goa, pilots safe

A MiG-29K trainer aircraft of the Indian Navy crashed a short distance from the Dabolim international airport on Saturday after it suffered an engine fire, officials said.
The incident happened shortly after take-off.
The two pilots Captain M. Sheokhand and Lt. Cdr. Deepak Yadav have ejected safely.
"During a training mission, after take off from INS Hansa at Dabolim, a Mig 29k trainer aircraft suffered an engine fire. The pilots Capt M Sheokhand and Lt Cdr Deepak Yadav ejected safely. @SpokespersonMoD," the Indian Navy tweeted.-IANS
