Expect all to contribute in temple construction: BJP leader
09-November-2019
The national general secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party Arun Singh welcomed the Supreme Court verdict on the Ayodhya dispute on Saturday and said that it is a historic decision and he expects that everyone will contribute in the construction of the Lord Ram temple.
Singh told IANS that the Supreme Court gave the verdict on the basis of three proofs. He said, "While making the unanimous decision, the apex court took note of the report of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) along with the experiences of the foreigners who visited Ayodhya and details written about the birth of Lord Ram in the religious books."
After the verdict of the Supreme Court, we expect that everyone will maintain peace and harmony and contribute in the construction of the temple, said the BJP leader.
A five-judge bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi gave its decision on the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute in Ayodhya in favour of the Hindu party. It has also directed the Centre to form a Trust, within three months, which will construct a temple there. The court also gave five acres of land to the Sunni Waqf Board to construct a mosque at an alternate place.IANS
