Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Chandra Maurya has appealed to people not to take the Supreme Court verdict in the Ram Janmabhoomi - Babri Masjid title dispute case as a case of win or loss.
In a tweet on Saturday, Maurya said: "The verdict in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi case should not be taken with an emotion of win or loss....Peace, harmony, brotherhood and unity should be maintained and the verdict should be welcomed and respected."
The security has been beefed up in whole of the state. On state government's order, all educational institutions, including schools and colleges will remain closed from November 9 to 11.
In Ayodhya, security has been tightened. Barricades have been put up in several places in the town.IANS
