Pakistan arrests 48 Indian fishermen

Pakistan's Maritime Security Agency (MSA) has arrested 48 Indian fishermen and captured eight boats for illegal entry in Pakistani waters, media reported on Saturday.
The fishermen were arrested from Kajjar Creek while fishing beyond the permissible limit. India and Pakistan routinely arrest fishermen on charges of illegally entering their territorial waters as the maritime boundaries between the two countries are poorly defined, ARY news reported.
Many fishing boats even do not have the technology to ascertain their precise location and many of the fishermen languish in jail for months on even after completing their prison terms. - IANS
