Amit Shah to inaugurate new police headquarters

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the new police headquarters on Jai Singh Marg in New Delhi on Thursday.
Minister of State for Home Affairs G. Kishan Reddy, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal along with several senior officials of the Home Ministry will also be present at the event.
In the first phase, the Delhi Police will be handed over four floors of the 17-storey building.
A Delhi police official said, "The inauguration of the new police headquarters will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday. As soon as we get the new building, Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik along with Joint Commissioners, Special Commissioner of Police will reach here."
