Haryana poll: BJP falling behind in northern districts

he Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is facing a challenge among the electorate in the northern districts of Haryana as out of the 27 assembly segments under three Lok Sabha seats of Ambala, Kurukshetra and Karnal, it is leading in only seven assembly seats, media reports indicated on Thursday.
As per initial counting trends, the Congress candidates have performed well and are leading in most of the seats in the region, including Kalka, Panchkula, Jagadhri, Sadhaura, Nilokheri, Ladwa, Thanesar, Naraingharh, Mullana, Kalayat, Kaithal, Samalkha and Israna.IANS
