Gambhir ties up with Daikin to build toilets in East Delhi

BJP Member of Parliament (MP) Gautam Gambhir has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Japanese consumer durables major, Daikin which will build toilets and install sanitary pad vending machines in his constituency of East Delhi.

"Private-Public Partnership is essential in the development of infrastructure. Signed MoU with Daikin which will build toilets and install sanitary pad vending machines in East Delhi. A step towards Bapu's vision and our Hon'ble PM's goal of women empowerment and sanitation!", Gambhir said in a tweet.

Gautam Gambhir Foundation has signed an MoU with Daikin India for construction of four public toilets, installation of twenty sanitary pad vending machines and ten incinerators for waste management.

Daikin will provide financial support to the Gautam Gambhir Foundation for these activities and a strategic planning exercise will be carried out to identify the areas for construction and installation.
