Chandigarh businessman shot dead in office

A 35-year-old businessman was shot dead by assailants in broad daylight in Chandigarh's Sector 45 on Saturday, police said.

The victim Sonu Shah was a cable television operator. His two friends -- Joginder and Romeo - received bullet injuries.

Police said Shah and his friends were in his office when the assailants entered the shop. After a brief interaction, they fired at them.

Shah, who was shot in the head, is believed to have had links with a gangster.IANS
