Ecosia's 'climate strike' in Delhi
21-September-2019
Search engine Ecosia, which promises to plant a sapling on every 45 searches, on Friday organized a "strike" against climate change in Delhi, and many other countries.
People, including children, stepped out to support protesters for the cause and demanded quick action against climate change.
Some spent the day in protest against new pipelines and mines, or the banks that fund them; some highlighted the oil companies fueling this crisis and the politicians that enable them.
Others spent the day in raising awareness about the cause in their communities and pushing for solutions to the climate crisis.
