Chhattisgarh CM Baghel meets Priyanka

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday met Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and discussed several party issues with her, party leaders said.
According to a Congress leader, Baghel met Gandhi for over an hour at Gandhi's residence.
The leader said that Baghel discussed the party's membership drive in the state and other state government schemes with her.
He said that Baghel also apprised Gandhi about his government's works in acquiring the foods grains from the farmers in the state at Rs 2,500 per quintal and how these schemes were benefitting the farmers.
The meeting comes a day after Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi met all the party Chief Ministers of four states and Union Territory and asked them to work with coordination.IANS
