Man rams dumper into stationary tempo, killed

A dumper driver died after his vehicle hit a stationary tempo in Wazirabad area of north Delhi, the police said on Wednesday.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Santosh, a resident of Hamirpur in Uttar Pradesh, whose dumper allegedly rammed into a tempo on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday on Outer Ring Road near Gopalpur Red Light.
"Santosh was driving a dumper and heading towards Kashmere Gate when he hit a stationary tempo. He was taken to Trauma Centre where he was declared brought dead," said a senior police officer.
Police said that after conducting post-mortem, the body was handed over to his family members, a senior police officer said, adding that a case under sections 279 (rash driving and negligent driving) and 304A (causing death by negligence) has been registered.IANS
