Russian envoy to Egypt dies 'suddenly' in Cairo

Russia's Ambassador to Egypt, Sergei Kirpichenko, has died "suddenly" in hospital in Cairo at the age of 68, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Monday.
Kirpichenko was appointed envoy to Egypt in 2011 and previously served in Syria, Libya and the United Arab Emirates.IANS
