Nigerian national held with 600gm heroin

A Nigerian national was arrested with 600 gram of heroin, valued at Rs 1.25 crore in the international market, police said on Friday.
Uchenna Israel Obutt, 37, was arrested from Nand Nagri area of east Delhi on Thursday, police said.
"We received a tip-off that at around 2 p.m. a foreigner, who sells heroin, will go to deliver contraband in UP, and will be coming near the Nand Nagri flyover. Following the information, a trap was laid and Obutt was apprehended. He was searched and approximate 600 gm of heroin found on him," Deputy Commissioner of Police (North East) Atul Thakur said.
During investigation, it was found that Obutt was arrested by Crime Branch in 2015 for using fake visa and had been released on bail in February 2018. He has now been arrested under the Narcotic and Psychotropic Substances Act," he added.
