Tibetan administration remembers Jaitley

The President of the Central Tibetan Administration, Lobsang Sangay, on Monday condoled the demise of former Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, describing him as a "devoted, inspirational leader with integrity and wisdom."
"I am deeply saddened to learn of the untimely demise of your husband, Sri Arun Jaitley Ji. On behalf of the Central Tibetan Administration and the Tibetan people, I offer our deepest condolences to you and your family," Sangay said in a note to Jaitley's wife.
"I had the privilege of meeting him back in 2011 during which he expressed his respect for the Dalai Lama and sympathy for the Tibetan people. A devoted, inspirational leader with integrity and wisdom, Arun Ji's legacy will live on and continue to be an inspiration," he said.
Jaitley, 66, passed away after prolonged illness at the AIIMS in the national capital on Saturday. IANS
