Delhi Assembly session from August 22

The Delhi Assembly will start its session from August 22 with the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) planning to raise the demand for a special discussion on the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
The BJP MLAs will raise the demand for a resolution to be adopted in the Delhi Assembly to support the Centre's decisions related to Jammu and Kashmir, Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta told the media here on Wednesday.
The session may also see a discussion and financial allocation or a revised budget for the proposed free Metro rides for women and the Delhi government's announcement about free electricity up to 200 units.
