Army to display weapons, ammunition in Delhi on Monday

The Indian Army will showcase a range of its artillery and ammunition for the general public at an event to be held here on Monday.
The event has been planned three days ahead of India's 73rd Independence Day on August 15. The equipment will be on display at the Pacific Mall in Tagore Garden on August 12.
Officials said a range of weapons and ammunition being used by the Army will be shown.
The display includes Bofors artillery gun, AK-47s, night vision devices, Under Barrel Grenade Launchers, 130 MM guns, communication equipment, infantry weapons, binoculars, commando kits and sniper suits.
Around 200 personnel of the Army will be stationed at the event in order to explain visitors about the equipment on display. Visitors may get a chance to interact with the military personnel.
A musical performance too has been scheduled. It will be performed by the Army jazz and pipe band. IANS
