One Maoist killed in gun battle in Jharkhand

One Maoist guerrilla was killed in gun battle with security forces in Jharkhand on Friday.
According to the police, the gun battle took place in Tholkobera jungle situated in the bordering areas of Khunti and West Singhbhum district.
A joint search operation was conducted by the state police and the CRPF after receiving information about the presence of guerrillas in the area. The Maoist guerrillas started firing, which was retaliated by the security forces. In the gun battle one Maoist was killed.
The security forces seized three rifles, magazines of AK 47, mobile phone and other things from the gun battle place.
