Commando in Punjab CM's security shot dead

A 25-year-old commando posted in the Punjab Chief Minister's security team was shot dead outside a nightclub in Mohali in the wee hours of Sunday, the police said.
Sukhwinder Singh, who was posted in the fourth commando battalion, went to the 'Walking Street' nightclub with his friends where he got into an altercation with a man named Sahil Sagar over some issues.
Sagar took out a weapon from his car and shot him thrice at around 3.15 a.m., a police officer said.
Sukhwinder, a native of Rorawali village in Ferozepur district, died on the spot.
Sagar fled from the scene after the incident. Police have launched a search operation to nab him.
The police have registered a case of murder against Sagar and others. IANS
