'Not easy to be a Sania Mirza in India'

Tennis star Sania Mirza Tuesday said it was extremely difficult for a woman to be a celebrity in India.
Asked by IANS how challenging was it for a woman to be a sportsperson and a celebrity in the country, Sania said: "It's very difficult to be a Sania Mirza in India."
Sania, who has been appointed the UN Goodwill Ambassador for the South Asian region by UN Women, was present at an event organised to mark the International Day To End Violence Against Women. - IANS
