A runaway couple was married in Sidhwalia police station in Gopalganj on Tuesday, said police.
Both, Bullet Kumar (22) and Neha (19), residents of the same village in Bihar, were in love for the last one year. They both ran away from their homes as their parents were not agreeable to their marriage.
Their parents lodged a police complaint in Sidhwalia police station. Later, the police found the runaway couple in a house in the same village.
Station in-charge Suman Mishra told IANS, "The couple wanted to get married. The families of the couple were called to the police station. The parents of Bullet were against the marriage but after counselling they agreed."
Finally, the couple was married in a temple at the police station itself. IANS
