Rs 78 lakh unaccounted cash seized in Kolkata, 2 TN residents held

The Special Task Force of the Kolkata Police on Tuesday arrested two Tamil Nadu residents carrying unaccounted cash worth Rs 78 lakhs, an officer said here.

Based on prior information, the STF personnel arrested Amjad Khan, 30, and Sk Ali, 32, both residents of Tamil Nadu from Tarachand Dutta street under the Jorasanko police station.

"Indian currency notes amounting to Rs 78 lakhs were found from their possession. They could not provide any documents for the same," he said.IANS
