Vijender continues unbeaten run with 11th straight win

Ace boxer Vijender Singh clinched a technical knockout over the more experienced Mike Snider on his debut in the US professional circuit here.

Vijender, 33, prevailed in four rounds for his 11th consecutive victory in the pro circuit in the eight-round super middleweight contest held on Saturday night (early Sunday morning in India).

Vijender cornered Snider with a flurry of straight punches in the second minute of the fourth round. That is when the referee adjudged the bout in the Indian'a favour.

This was Vijender's eighth knockout win overall. IANS
