Policeman shot dead outside court in Bihar

A policeman was shot dead and another seriously injured outside Danapur court in Patna on Wednesday, police said.

Patna Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Garima Malik said that a group of motorcycle-borne armed people attacked a police team escorting undertrial prisoners outside the Danapur court.

According to police officials, the seriously injured policeman has been hospitalised.

Police have lodged a case over the incident and begun an investigation. IANS
