Government may garner over Rs 7,000 cr from direct taxes

The Central government is expected to garner more than Rs 7,000 crore as net income from direct taxes and Rs 25,000 crore from indirect taxes based on proposals in the full-Budget 2019-20, a senior official said on Friday. IANS
