Indian, Pakistani armies clash in Kashmir

Indian and Pakistani troops clashed Tuesday along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir after the Pakistan Army fired at Indian positions, the military said.
Defence ministry spokesman Colonel Manish Mehta told IANS that Pakistan Army violated the ceasefire in Balnoi sector of the LoC in Poonch district.
The Pakistanis used small arms. "The firing started at 2.20 p.m. And it is still going on. Our troops have effectively retaliated."
There were no casualties on the Indian side. - IANS
