New SSP takes charge in Ghaziabad

 Sudhir Kumar Singh took charge as the new Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Ghaziabad here on Tuesday.
Singh, a 2015 batch IPS officer who joined the police force as PPS officer in Uttar Pradesh state services in 1992, joined as the Ghaziabad SSP at the police headquarters here. 
Talking to mediapersons, Singh said that Ghaziabad was not a new place to him as he was a circle officer here before and had the experience of patrolling the large areas of the district, including the tough region of Loni. 
Singh has served as the circle officer in other districts too, including Hapur, Gonda and Meerut. He has also served in Muzaffarnagar as an Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP).  IANS
