20-September-2014
Aam Aadmi Party leader Alka Lamba has lodged a police complaint against Delhi legislator Vinod Kumar Binny and 21 others for alleging on a social media website that she is running a sex trade in her house.
Binny, however, refuted the charges saying someone created a fake account in his name to malign him.
"I have lodged a complaint against Binny and 21 others who are trying to defame me by airing false allegations on social media. Binny and a few more rivals are continuously putting derogatory remarks on facebook against me," Lamba told IANS.
She said that on Friday she lodged a written complaint against Binny and others at the Kotla Mubarakpur police station.
She also said that if a proper probe was not carried out she would approach Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi and Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung.
Binny told IANS that someone has created a fake account in his name and he has complained to the police.
He also said he will hold a press conference Sunday at his house on the matter. - IANS
