Egypt's Defense, Foreign ministers to visit Russia

Egypt's Defense Minister Mohamed Zaki and Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Sunday left for Russia on an official visit for the 2+2 dialogue mechanism between the two countries.
The visit aims at discussing means of boosting bilateral relations in all domains, Egypt's official MENA news agency reported.
Zaki is scheduled to attend Russia's 5th Jubilee ARMY 2019 International Military and Technical Forum.
He is also set to hold talks with senior officials in the Russian defense ministry with the aim of discussing issues of common interest in view of the partnership and military cooperation between the two countries, reported Xinhua news agency.
Egypt's ties with Russia have been growing since Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi took office.
Russia conducts investment projects that are worth billions of US dollars in Egypt, including the establishment of Egypt's first nuclear power plant. IANS
