Cricket Namibia on Thursday announced a 25-man Elite Men's squad, balanced with youth and experience for the 2019-20 season.
Namibia's Cricket head coach Pierre de Bruyn said there are exciting tournaments in place and with the calibre of the chosen players they have the ability to make the nation proud, reports Xinhua news agency.
De Bruyn said Namibia will take on the USA and Papua New Guinea in the United States to start off the ICC Cricket World Cup (CWC) Division 2 League in September, which means Namibia will play a minimum of 36 One Day International matches over the next three years.
Meanwhile, Namibia qualified for the Global T20 World Cup qualifier in Dubai which will be played towards the end of October. This will be the last hurdle for Namibia to qualify for the ICC T20 World Cup in 2020. IANS
