5.8-magnitude quake hits Tibet

A 5.8-magnitude quake hit Xigaze city in Tibet autonomous region early on Monday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Centre (CENC). No casualties have been reported.
The epicentre was Xaitongmoin county as the quake struck at a depth of 8 km, Xinhua quoted CENC as saying.
Some cracks were found on rural houses and there have been reports of damages to some livestock sheds in the county. The conditions of remote villages were still not available. - IANS
