The convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Chhattisgarh, Sanket Thakur, has resigned from the post accepting moral responsibility for the party's failure to win any seat in the Assembly election.
Thakur, however, said that despite the defeat, AAP secured 125,000 votes in its very first election battle in the state and this was significant. He said the biggest problem AAP faced was the lack of cadres to carry its message to voters.-IANS
