Will agitate again if needed: Kejriwal
New Delhi
25-January-2014
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Saturday said that he won't hesitate to hold another agitation in the city if needed.
Defending his dharna (sit-in) in the heart of Delhi a couple of days back, Kejriwal, who had rebelliously called himself an "anarchist", said that his protest was for the safety of women.
"It was for the first time that a chief minister had protested for women's safety, but by imposing Section 144 (that prohibits assembly of five or more people), the central government proved that they were not serious about the issue," Kejriwal said in his address on the eve of Republic Day at the packed Chhatrasal stadium here.
"If I have to agitate for women's safety again, I won't hesitate," he said. - IANS
