The Central government has sanctioned development projects worth Rs 9,000 crore in the past 10 months for Himachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said on Wednesday.

The government aims to provide a cooking gas connection to every household by the end of next year.
Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated a tehsil office building at Paonta Sahib, which, he said, would immensely benefit the people of the area. - IANS
