3 Maoists killed in Chhattisgarh, weapons seized

Three Maoists were killed in a shootout with the police in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district on Saturday, police said.
Superintendent of Police Mohit Garg told reporters that along with the bodies of the three Maoists, .303 rifles, two loaded guns, cartridges and several other weapons were recovered.
He said that a police platoon had gone on patrol in Madpal village area on Thursday. A group of Maoists fired at them on Saturday and in retaliatory firing three Maoists were killed.
