Meet Auto Anna at FPJ Conversations in Chennai

Conversations, a members’ social organized by Friends of Positive Journalism (FPJ), a forum of supporters of The Weekend Leader, will kick-off this Saturday, August 3, at Arena Animation, Anna Nagar, Chennai, at 6 pm.

Auto Anna, an enterprising auto driver in Chennai, who has put in tremendous efforts to ensure that his customers have a pleasant and memorable ride, will be the special guest for the evening.

Anna’s auto has the latest magazines for customers to read and relax

Anna’s auto is Wi-Fi enabled, and is equipped with a mini TV set, a tablet and a recharge facility for prepaid mobiles. He spends about Rs.4000 each month on newspapers and magazines that are neatly stacked in the auto.

The 28-year-old youngster operates on Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR), which is also called the IT highway because of the huge concentration of IT companies on the stretch.
