Policeman killed, another injured in Anantnag attack

One special police officer (SPO) was killed and a constable injured on Tuesday in a militant attack in Kashmir's Anantnag district, police said.
Militants fired at a police vehicle in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district in south Kashmir, the police said.
Head Constable Abdul Rashid and SPO Bilal Ahmad had received injuries in the attack.
"Both were shifted to hospital where doctors declared the SPO dead on arrival. The Head Constable has been shifted to Srinagar for specialized treatment," the police said. - IANS
