Seven securitymen injured in landmine blast in Jharkhand

Seven securitymen were injured on Thursday in a landmine blast triggered by Maoist guerrillas in Jharkhand's Latehar district, police said.
The blast occurred when the securitymen were conducting an anti-Maoist operation in Budha Pahad area. The injured men were airlifted to Ranchi for treatment.
The security operation was launched on suspicion that top Maoist leaders had taken shelter at Budha Pahad, bordering Chhattisgarh. - IANS
