Kovind to lay foundation stone for IT building

President Ram Nath Kovind will lay the foundation stone for the first government IT building on the Technocity campus on October 27.
"Today, the technology park's Phase 1, 2 and 3 collectively employ over 100,000 IT professionals. Once Technocity is operational, we foresee additional 100,000 employment opportunities from leading and upcoming IT companies in Kerala, especially in the areas of futuristic technologies," said Kerala IT Secretary M. Sivasankar.
Describing Technocity as a milestone for Kerala in the field of IT, Sivasankar said the Kerala government would do everything to strengthen the state's presence on the global IT map. - IANS
