The Weekend Leader gets into Headlines Now
10-November-2012
The Weekend Leader takes a big leap today with the launch of a new reader-friendly design, and the introduction of a new section, ‘Headlines Now’.
While the new design with sliding panels carrying thumbnail images and story blurbs will enable you to get a quick overview of many of our recent features - helping you to decide what to read and what to skip - ‘Headlines Now’ will carry stories on current affairs.
The Editorial decision to publish the ‘regular headlines’ has been taken after a great deal of deliberation and in view of our growing readership.
While readers visit The Weekend Leader to get their daily fix of positive news, they invariably surf other news portals for the day’s ‘top headlines.’ So, why not a section in The Weekend Leader to keep track of important news stories for the benefit of our readers?
As we start covering developing news, we will make sure the quality of our coverage will remain in sync with our commitment to Positive Journalism.
