Suspected rail sabotage reported near Kanpur

A suspected rail sabotage was reported between Kalyanpur and Mandhana railway stations near Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, railway sources said on Monday.
The sources said 50 units of elastic rail clips and three pairs of fish plates were found removed from a rail track. Two railway employees on routine patrol spotted this on Sunday midnight.
A 1.5 mm cut mark by a hack-saw blade was noticed. The sources said rgR trains were running "under caution" in the section. - IANS
