Army kills anti-talk ULFA cadre

The army on Wednesday shot dead a member of the anti-talk faction of the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) in Assam's Tinsukia district.
Defence ministry spokesman Lt Col Suneet Newton said the killing took place in Talpathar village and that an assault rifle was seized from the slain man known as Mecuri. - IANS
