Police in Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh are on high alert to foil possible communal violence.
Police sources said on Friday that a process to identify anti-social elements had been launched in the district that borders Delhi.
Briefing station officers of all police stations, the Ghaziabad police chief explained how to control violent mobs. The mob controlling weaponry was used during the training session.
"Time to time we should mobilize our resources, and this practice was a part of it" said Superintendent of Police Ajay Pal. - IANS
