Entries open for Laadli media awards till Sep 15

Journalists, advertising professionals and media organisations can send in their entries for the fifth edition of Laadli Media and Advertising Awards for Gender Sensitivity by Sep 15, said a statement Monday.

The awards, instituted in 2007, are supported by the United Nations Population Fund.

"The last date for receiving entries in the northern region is Sep 15. The entries should have been published and broadcast between Jan 1 and June 30," said the statement.

The award aims to provide the media with a gender lens for gender-sensitive reporting advertising and promote gender sensitivity. - IANS
