Five vehicle thieves arrested, 10 bikes recovered

Five auto thieves were arrested here and 10 stolen motorcycles recovered from their possession, police said Saturday.
Addressing a press conference here, Superintendent of Police, City, Akash Tomar, said that on Friday midnight, the Vijay Nagar police spotted five persons roaming in suspicious circumstances.
On being questioned, they couldn't satisfy the police team about their activities and they were detained for further questioning. During sustained interrogation, they confessed that they stole 10 motorcycles during the recent past. On their information, police recovered 10 bikes hidden in different places by them.
The thieves were identified as Deepak, Rahul, Sumit, and Deepak, all residents of Hapur town and Mohit, a resident of Ghaziabad. Three knives were also recovered from them. - IANS
