Retarded man nabbed in Hindon airbase

A retarded man was nabbed by air force personnel and district police team on Friday during a joint search operation at the Hindon Air Force Station here.
"He seems a retarded man. He cannot be trusted for his statement. However, he has been detained for further interrogation by other agencies also," said Hardayal Singh Yadav, Sahibabad police station inspector in Ghaziabad.
He was noticed in the early hours of the day by the security staff of the Hindon Air Force base. They alerted their force and informed the senior air force officers who sought police help.
During search, the joint team of air force and police personnel nabbed the man roaming under suspicious circumstances.
During interrogation, the man revealed his identity as Sonu, a resident of Loni area.
Stating that he entered the air force station through a partly damaged boundary wall, he told police team the air force station has grabbed his land so he would not allow the air force station to run on his land. - IANS
